Dillard University Announces 2023/2024 BeyGOOD Renaissance Scholars

In 2023, Dillard University was honored to announce its selection as one of the schools to benefit from the BeyGOOD Foundation’s generous commitment, receiving $100,000 to establish scholarships specifically focused on Public Health. This initiative marks a significant milestone in the university’s history, fostering the development of future healthcare change agents under the 2023/2024 Renaissance Scholars program.

The BeyGOOD Foundation, under the visionary leadership of Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, continues to champion economic equity and educational empowerment. In alignment with Mrs. Carter’s RENAISSANCE World Tour announcement, she pledged $1M towards Small Business grants and an additional $1M for educational scholarships. This strategic investment aims to support ten schools, each receiving $100K, to award ten students per institution with $10K scholarships, welcoming them into the distinguished Renaissance Scholars cohort.
