Students to faculty ratio
The Will W. Alexander Library allow circulation of various media, i.e., books, hardbound journals, CDs and reserve course materials.
Materials have a two-week circulation. Three renewals can be made unless a reserve request has placed on the item by another patron. There is no limit on items checked out by a Dillard University student or faculty/staff member. CALL patrons are limited to five items all totaled.
Over dues are placed on books, journals, CDs, etc., at 20 cents per day per item.
Lost items are charged at the rate it would cost the library replace it, if being replaced. If it is not being replaced, the patron is billed at the cost of the overdue amount on the day the item is deemed lost.
Reserve course materials circulation is determined by the professor placing items on reserve. Circulation usually falls to a two-hour timeframe to be used in the library. Any alteration to this policy must be supported by a memo from the professor which the student must have when placing the request.

For upcoming events, please include the event name, date, time, location along with a description of the event. THIS FORM IS FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY.
